My Morning Ritual!

Recently I’ve changed up my morning routine.

One of the things I found is when you really go out there and study successful people and ask them “what do you do to stay positive, have good energy, and be in the right mindset”?

When they tell you…why don’t you believe them? Or even worse…not do what they suggest…

I understand, the thing about human nature, why won’t we do what successful people do or worse yet change it up.

I’ve been reading a book Code of the Extraordinary Mind by Vishen Lakhiani.

Tony Robbins mentions that T Harv Eker suggests a morning routine.

Another great book on morning routines is The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod

He says that many successful people get up and of course go to the bathroom and they then drink a large glass of water and proceed to their workout.

It pretty crazy how we all want to feel better, look better, have more energy and be financially set…but if we’re told that we need to start a morning routine and that means getting up early to fit everything in. Nope don’t want to do that, its crazy!

What if you got a job that requires you to be there early in the morning? You’d obviously be there early in the morning or you’d be fired.

Why is it when you’re doing it for yourself it’s harder to follow through?

We are all full of excuses, procrastination (which by the way is suicide on the installment plan)

We try to justify with reasons why we won’t follow through

To do a daily ritual is hard…NO…it’s difficult…NO…IT’S EASY!

Jim Rohn said it’s easy…but it’s easier not to…

We all know that we have to deal with this challenge every day…

However successful people do it…

We all deal with the positive and negative thoughts in our heads

I want you all to find someone to follow, to give you hope and inspiration

that you can follow their morning routine and just do it!

Be that person that follows through and prove the ney sayers wrong!

Don’t not do it and then say it doesn’t work…

My mentor shared with me to read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

My mentor said to read just 5 minutes a day in the morning.

I did read it but I read it faster for the simple reason that I wanted to show him that I was worthy of his mentorship.

I highly suggest to get a morning routine. If you’re not willing to incorporate a routine, you’re more than likely going to keep struggling.

The reason for rituals is to become disciplined.

If you won’t do it, ask yourself why won’t I do it?

My morning routine is: I get up early…bathroom…then I drink a large glass of water.

then get on my elliptical and run on it for 15 minutes. Recently I looked up what a marathon runner does a mile in and it’s 10 minutes. That’s my goal.

I then get in my infrared sauna for 30 minutes and meditate to the 6 phase meditation by Vishen Lakhiani.

I understand the importance of exercise and meditation…then I read 30 minutes of a book.

Can you put all this into your day? Yes get up earlier!

If you’re not willing to change and add positive things in your day, then stop complaining when you start out a day poorly.

I have been working in N Dakota for 7 years just working, workin, working and I have made the decision to learn how to work online because I am never going to achieve anything if I don’t take things into my own hands. I have been studying success principle s for about 1 0 months now religiously listening to audeos, videos and reading books four hours a day. I have only picked something to try online about a month ago. I wake up every morning slap my hands together like zig Ziggler says and say whatvavterrific day to be alive. Then I go through all I am thankful for. It is hard to start exercising. I had a week off and I did every day I ran walked and set outside for over an hour, it is much harder when I have to get to work and sop many hours but I will figure out something I can do for at least five minutes as you say.
